Rebecca Tucker, 2021
Acrylic on board, framed
Size: W61 x H61 x D5.5cm
Creating depth using layers of paint, what begins as an abstract initial layer gradually builds and gains definition. Taking inspiration from the natural world Rebecca enjoys creating works with mood and atmosphere, paintings that resonate with the viewer and conjure up memories and emotion at a subliminal level.

Artist: Rebecca Tucker
Rebecca Tucker is a Lancashire born-London based painter, whose works are the result of a visual ‘discussion’ between abstract and more representational methods of depicting landscape and the natural world. Using colour, texture, line and layers Rebecca is keen to play with the viewers perception of space in artworks (and what would traditionally constitute a ‘landscape’) and then pull that preconceived idea back to the appreciation of what are essentially abstract marks on a two dimensional surface.
Rebecca studied Fine Art at Reading University. She owns and runs a successful interior design company in Wimbledon.
