Forbidden Planet

Laura uses her signature bold brushstrokes, drips and pours in opaque and translucent layers to produce surfaces that are beautifully textured, sublimely coloured and visually engaging. This striking circular pour painting with bold colours and unique effects is one of the three remaining circular paintings in deep-set white frames. Metallic gold and black merge together to create patterns and swirls in the foreground, green-gold, metallic silver and magenta blend together to form the background and sky. As with many of Laura's paintings, this can be rotated and hung to your liking.
